Lyle Larson is the founder of San Antonio International Ag Promotions. He is a lifelong San Antonio resident and small business owner with vast experience in the agricultural industry. As the youngest son of a renowned large animal veterinarian, Larson grew up on a productive cattle and swine operation. He later graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Business Administration. During his 16 years on the San Antonio City Council and Bexar County Commissioner’s Court, he was instrumental in the growth and expansion of the AT&T Center and Freeman Coliseum Grounds. Larson says: "Bringing South Texas and Mexico a world class Farm and Ranch Trade Show has long been a dream for many of us, and I am excited to finally see it all come together."
Jeff Lynch is co-founder of San Antonio International Ag Promotions. He grew up in South Texas on a large cattle ranch and continues to manage a cow calf operation with 350 mother cows in Karnes County. A graduate of UTSA with a degree in Business Administration, he is also co-owner of a successful outdoor living construction company. Lynch says: "This show will provide all of us farmers and ranchers the latest advances in products, technology and applications in an easy-to-reach location, while at the same time providing a wonderful and entertaining backdrop of San Antonio for our families to enjoy."
Freeman Coliseum and Grounds is the beloved and long standing home of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. It is celebrating its 60th anniversary since being established by Joe and Harry Freeman to promote agriculture in Central and South Texas. While maintaining its historically deep roots in the community it is also expanding to meet the needs of future generations. The largest indoor ag-related, climate controlled facility in Texas, opened in 2009, added 150,000 square feet to the more than one million square feet of indoor facilities that exist on the 160 acre property.
